What is your #1 goal in life?

Your answer to that question will reveal your dominant life value. Everyone has one. It’s what we unconsciously base our decisions on. God tells us that love is to be our dominant life value. Jesus reminded us in Matthew 22:36-40 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”


We are kicking off 40 Days of Love on February 12. LOVE is to be a priority so we can love God with all our heart and love our neighbor as ourselves. But in todays world, consumed with everyday challenges, flooded by distractions, and bombarded with temptations, how do we arrange our life to make loving God and loving our neighbors our deepest desire, highest aspiration, and constant focus?

In this six session group Bible study we will learn practical, Christ-centered advice on how to authentically do just that love God and love our neighbors as a normal way of life. With a focus on the spiritual truths of patience, kindness, truth, and forgiveness, we will learn to love like Jesus in 40 Days.

The six session titles are:  
Session One: Love Matters Most
Session Two: Love is Patient, Love is Kind
Session Three: Love Speaks the Truth
Session Four: Love is Forgiving
Session Five: Love is not Selfish
Session Six: The Habits of a Loving Heart


Small Group Times & Places
I’m asking every person in our church to join a small group. This study of what the Bible says about love will bring a revival of love to our relationships! We were made for relationships. The more we learn how to love authentically, the more like Jesus we become. We are looking for host homes and small group leaders.
