David M. Blevins, Pastor 

    

    David is a graduate of the University of Virginia (B.S.) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div.). He served as the Baptist Campus Minister for the Danville area colleges from 1979-89, and has served as Pastor of Woodland Baptist since 1989. His wife, Margie, is a Registered Nurse, and they are the parents of two sons, Matthew and Daniel.

E. James (Jim) McCord, Minister of Music

Jim is a graduate of the University of Evansville (Bachelor of Music Education) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Church Music). He has served churches in Kentucky, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina and Maryland over a thirty-five year period. His wife, Marilyn, is a Registered Nurse, and they are the parents of three children, Christi, Jonathan and Julie.

Woodland Baptist Church is located in beautiful Nelson County in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, halfway between Charlottesville and Lynchburg, VA.
